International Trade Support for your business – 27th October – City Hall, Cardiff

25.10.2022

Trading internationally is a huge opportunity for businesses across Wales and we’re delighted to support Chambers Wales in its International Exhibition this week – Wales and the World.

It’s being held at City Hall in Cardiff and is supported by Welsh Government and sponsored by leading Forex provider Moneycorp. The Centurion (or Xeinadin Indirect Tax team) VAT team of Andrea Brindley and Liz Maher will be on hand in the exhibition area from 430pm that day should you wish to pop by with any VAT issues your organisation is facing as it considers its growth into the Export market. The exhibition area is free for businesses to be able to access and there will be staff from Chambers Wales, The Department for International Trade, Welsh Government, Moneycorp and Chamber Customs to help businesses with information and guidance on Exporting.

Alongside the exhibition space there will also be a Q & A session at 5:30pm, covering Customs changes and Access to Markets and we are delighted that Liz Maher from Centurion (Xeinadin) will be on the panel to answer questions and highlight best practices in managing the VAT issues that arise when exporting. The Chair of the British Chambers of Commerce Anne-Marie Martin; Cathryn Law – Director of Bilateral Trade Relations, Department of International Trade and Patrick Postill, Regional Account Manager, Moneycorp will also be on the panel so don’t miss this valuable opportunity to access information to help your business move forward on exporting.

The exhibition will be followed by an International Trade Dinner at which both the Secretary of State for Wales – Robert Buckland KC; Andrew Gwatkin, Director of International Relations and Trade, Welsh Government and the Director General of the British Chambers of Commerce Shevaun Haviland will speak. If you are interested in attending the Dinner itself, then contact Nikki Williams at Chambers Wales nikki.williams@cw-seswm.com

For any businesses in Wales looking to grow their markets overseas, this is a must-attend event and our Centurion (Xeinadin) VAT team are delighted to have been asked to support this initiative.
